Kids Camps
A program for young people who would like a fun, game-oriented way to be introduced to golf. Participants will learn how to interact with others at the golf course and receive a small portion of instruction.
The Kids Camp series with The Golf Academy at Deer Ridge continues to be a successful program. This years dates can be found below:
JULY 2023 DATES:
- July 26th – 28th (8-10am)
AUGUST 2023 DATES:
- August 2nd – 4th (8-10am)
- August 16th – 18th (8-10am)
- August 23rd – 25th (8-10am)
The Details
All camps are limited to 12 participants and for children aged 6 to 14. You do not have to be a member of Deer Ridge to have your kids take part in the program.

Junior Lessons
James is pleased to offer specialized lessons for the junor golfer in your family. Juniors will learn the fundamentals of the game while developing the skills needed to play better golf.

James Skrypec facilitates a program for competitive junior players at The Academy at Deer Ridge.
This program is admission-based. In order to join you must book complimentary time with James so he can determine if your child is a good fit for the Competitive Junior Program.

Team Practice: Tuesday & Thursday evenings – June through September
