Get a Grip

Game Improvement | Golf Strategy

Grip changes are one of the most painful changes that we can make during the golf season. It is extremely uncomfortable to play golf with a change to your immediate connection to the golf club. We can take advantage of the off season to ensure our grip sets us up to play our best golf. The most important part of the grip is the “V” created by your index finger and thumb of your top hand (See #1). Ideally the “V” of your top hand should be pointing between your right ear and right shoulder (for right handed golfers). The easiest way to improve your grip is to hold onto a golf club with your new grip while you watch your favourite TV show!

Grip Changes

Due to extremely high demand, we are only taking members of Deer Ridge for private lessons at this time.

Junior Programs are still available for this summer.
